Train Like a Professional, Fly like a Professional

Rich Hayes, our VP of Simulator Operations and simulator instructor, came to us from Delta Air Lines, where he retired flying the "big iron" throughout the world. In addition, Rich flew F-111's on active duty in the US Air Force for 10 years and F-4's and F-15's in the Air National Guard for another 10 years. In all, Rich has logged over 1,100 hours in flight simulators as a crew member/pilot. In todays economic environment with fuel costs above $5.00 a gallon, maintenance costs going through the roof and a limited amount of time for training, the simulator makes all the sense in the world. It is not uncommon, for a simulator client to accomplish 6 or more approaches, missed approaches and holding in a one hour simulator. An airplane is not the ultimate classroom:
